This and That

Life has been so busy the past few months and I finally seem to have a minute to breathe.

Then, I looked at the calendar and realized Thanksgiving is next week.

Time is flying, I tell ya'!

Yesterday, I sent the family out of the house and spent some time doing some deep cleaning and it felt soooooo good.  The bathrooms were scrubbed top to bottom, the dust around the house was sucked up by my trusty Dyson and my floors were steamed and sanitized....... it's a really good feeling to wake up knowing how clean the house is.

Of course, the weather is so mild here right now and I wore these today.....

...... I need a pedi, just sayin'.

So many years I wait to the last minute to buy candles for my Advent wreath......

.... today, I bought the last three purple candles at Hobby Lobby...... and they still had my favorite size.  It's a good day!

Bobble-heads are so funny to me.  Usually they don't look like who they are supposed to be to me.  But then one day I walked into one of our classrooms and spotted these.....

..... seriously, you gotta love some Pope bobble-heads...... right?

I was looking at some old pictures.......

..... just so you know, she still can have that "look"... and why is she at soccer without cleats and shin-guards?  That was before we were "hard core," I guess.

Finally, I had to post this......

Oh my goodness, those sweet little brown legs! Reminds me of my baby sister. She was so blonde and would get so tan...we would say she had reindeer legs! You know, little and brown? Anyway, she's itty bitty in that pic! :0)
