Did You Notice?

I was out of town last week which was the reason for the short, lame posts.

I was here with my family.....

Isn't Cinderella's Castle so pretty in Christmas lights?

My parents took the grandkids (that wanted to go) one last time.... Steve and I tagged along.

It was crazy crowded, but we took it all in stride.

We rode all the rides we really wanted to ride.....

I got a little glimpse into my too-near-future.....

.... she looks a little too happy.

We even managed to have some turkey on Turkey Day.....

We talked about things we were thankful for every day....... and not just Disney stuff.

And we enjoyed the countries of EPCOT when other places got a little too crowded at night...

In case you haven't noticed, running shorts and t-shirts are all the rage in Disney wardrobe.

I'm sure it wasn't as crowded as the stores on Black Friday..... and there weren't any hair-pulling or fist fights for mercandise.... I have to say, I didn't miss any of the madness at all.

We came across some very talented people who make creations like this.......

I wonder how much masking tape the parks go through on a daily basis to tape off areas for the parades.  I'm sure the amount would boggle the mind.  Let's not even try to imagine the annual number.  You're wondering like I am, aren't you?

And we watched some street shows......

.... and even participated in one....

..... it was "The Dating Game."  Steve recorded the whole thing.  If it ends up on YouTube, he's in trouble.

We tried on a hat....

..... or two.....

And, of course, we saw a few characters.....

So, that's where I was.

And I came home to some freezing-cold weather.

How was your Thanksgiving?

LOVE all the pics! Disney World might just be my most favorite place on Earth. I've never been during the holidays, though... maybe one day I'll get there to see all the decorations! I'm sure they're even more amazing in person!

Awww...Disneyworld! We asked the boys a few years ago if they would rather go on a cruise or go to Disneyworld, and they said DW! Neither happened, but it was interesting to hear that they would rather go back to DW than go on a cruise!
